• 설문지 가져가서 작성후 꼭 제출 바랍니다 — 향후 계획에 필요합니다.  

• 개인 면담 예정 — 개별적 솔루션을 제공하기 위해 필요합니다. 

• 내일 9/8일 예배 안내

  • 오전 예배가 끝나고 Fellowship Meal에서 모두 준비해 온 음식을 한자리에서 나누어 먹습니다

  • 여기서 미국인들과 자연스레 얘기를 나눌 수 있을 것입니다. 

  • 9시에 성경공부, 10시에 예배입니다.

    • 성경공부는 제가 가르치고, 예배는 동시통역을 제공합니다.

Prayer

• Dear God, thank you for the beautiful day.

• Thank you for this opportunity to practice English. 

• Please, help me take full advantage of it. 

  • Please, help me to make the most of the class today. 

• Please, refresh my brain for me to improve my English. 

  • I believe you can do it because you are the Creator and Fashioner of all universe. 

  • I believe you listen to my prayer now and you will answer if you are pleased with me. 

• Please, allow your wisdom to the teacher.

• Please, help us as classmates to love and help each other. 

• Thanks for the churches providing this class for us.

• In Jesus’ name (Amen).

Encouragement

• Have somebody told you that you are a failure?

• You didn’t fail unless you give up. You have hope as long as you have a dream and push yourself toward it. 

• You FAILED if you gave up. 

• You failed in achieving your dream if you stopped pushing forward yourself toward the dream, and if you sit back doing nothing but complaining about the circumstance or pitying yourself. 

• What brought you to the US? Did you accomplish it? What marriage are you having? Are you happy with it? What relationship are you having with your children? Are they still giving you the joy as they were smiling at you in your arms?

지난 10년 저희 가족의 미국에서의 삶은 정신적인 면에서는 외로움과 물질적인 면에서는 궁핍함과의 전쟁이었습니다. 

Our family's life in the US for the last 10 years was a battle against loneliness in the mental side and financial difficulty in the material side.  

그런 어려움 속에서 저희 가족은 서로 서로에게 힘이 되었습니다. 

Our family members supported (=buttressed) each other in such a hardship.

외적인 어려움은 오히려 우리가족의 화합과 사랑을 더욱 키워주었고, 우리 가족은 결국 합심하여 전쟁을 이겨낸 동지와 같이 되었습니다. 

On the contrary, the external difficulty made our family’s harmony and love stronger, and we finally became like fellows who fought a battle together in one spirit.

만일 가족이 없었다면, 우리 중 누구도 이 싸움을 이길 수 없었을 것입니다.

If there were not for my family, any one of us could not have won the battle.
