Encouragement 듣기

• How is your track record?
• The current track record is what you have done in the past—good or bad. How are you living now? It will be your track record in your future—good or bad. 
• You can’t make yourself seen a different person than who you are—good or bad. Your track record is who you are. You can’t change your track record overnight.
• Even at this moment, however, you are making your track record. You can’t change your current track record, but you can, your future track record. 
• So, be mindful of your track record.
• All make mistakes, but only a few people grow out of them. What about you? Are you responsible for your mistakes, or do you just blame others?
• Acknowledge your mistakes, and make them up for yourself. Try to grow out of them. Overcome your shortcomings and improve yourself.
• Remember, you will be judged after death by how you are living now. On that day, you will not be able to change your track record. It will determine your fate forever.

하나님의 사랑을 깨달은 것.
지난 10년의 미국 생활이 저에게 준 가장 좋은 것은 살아계신 하나님의 사랑입니다. 저는 하나님을 믿지 않았었습니다. 부족함이 없는 삶을 살던 저는 교만하여 그 어떤 것에도 의지할 필요가 없다고 생각했었습니다. 그러나, 이민 생활은 저를 하나님께로 인도했습니다. 제가 하나님을 믿고 그분의 뜻을 따르기 시작했을 때, 저에게 행복이 다시 찾아왔습니다. 돌이켜 생각하면, 하나님의 사랑이 없었다면, 저도, 제 아내도, 그리고 제 아이들도 지금과 같이 되지 못했을 것입니다. 그리고 보면, 교만한 저에게 하나님을 만나 구원을 얻게 하시기 위해 하나님은 저를 미국으로 인도하신 것 같습니다.

지난 10년의 미국 생활이 저에게 준 가장 좋은 것은 살아계신 하나님의 사랑입니다. 
The best thing (that the 10 years in the US gave me) is love of living God
저는 하나님을 믿지 않았었습니다. 
I did not believe in God. 
부족함이 없는 삶을 살던 저는 교만하여 그 어떤 것에도 의지할 필요가 없다고 생각했었습니다. 
I thought I did not have to rely on anything because I was arrogant for I lived without want.
그러나 감당하기 어려울 정도로 힘겨운 이민 생활은 자연스럽게 저를 하나님께로 인도했습니다. 
However, the difficult immigrant life led me inevitably (irresistibly) to God. 

제가 하나님을 믿고 그분의 뜻을 따르기 시작했을 때, 저에게 행복이 다시 찾아왔습니다.
Happiness came to me when I believed in God and obeyed His will.
돌이켜 생각하면, 하나님의 사랑이 없었다면, 저도, 제 아내도, 그리고 제 아이들도 지금과 같이 되지 못했을 것입니다. 
If I recall, my wife, my children, and I could not have become who we are if there has not been the love of God.
그리고 보면, 교만한 저에게 하나님을 만나 구원을 얻게 하시기 위해 하나님은 저를 미국으로 인도하신 것 같습니다.
Therefore, God led me to the US to save me (who was arrogant) through meeting Him.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
